NewsPicks Studios『しまうま劇場』

Shimauma Theatre, a joint account between NewsPicks Studios Inc. and KDDI Corporation, produced a collaborative work with “Sekaigawakaranai,” a short vertical drama account run by OASIZ.
The work, which was written, filmed, and edited entirely by our drama (Sekaigawakaranai) team,
crosses the perspectives of a mother struggling to balance work and child-rearing in the corporate world, and a child torn between home and school, eliciting a great deal of sympathy and response.
The first part of this work, which was released on TikTok, has been viewed 4 million times, and the second part 800,000 times, becoming a prime example of the potential and social relevance of short vertical dramas.
